Alta / Áltá
Alta (54 masl) contains Finnmarksløpets start and finishing line. The city is the biggest in the county of Finnmark, and was the birthplace for Finnmarksløpet back in 1981.
The arena is in the middle of the centre, and if you are visiting during Finnmarksløpet you will experience a city festival at the same time.
