Máze

Máze (277 masl) is situated north of Kautokeino, close to the Alta-Kautokeino River. This small village was planned to be put under water when building the Alta Dam in the beginning of the 1980`s, but fortunately a massive civilian protest saved it.

Maze hosts the FL 600 class, and note that at this checkpoint no handlers are allowed.
